AI insurance, built for
the speed of AI.
DAO-funded. Bermuda-SPI-backed. Mandatory AI arbitration with Growt as the impartial fact-finder. Claims resolve in minutes, not months. Built for AI providers, AI-deploying SaaS, and AI agents themselves.
The thesis
The AI economy generates more transactions in an hour than traditional courts can adjudicate in a year. Insurance for that economy can't wait six months for a claim review.AI arbitration with structural-audit evidence is how insurance keeps up.
The architecture
Five pillars, one coherent product
Community-funded capital
Foundation members contribute capital — fiat or crypto — and hold governance tokens carrying rights over standards, open-source risk models, and product roadmap. Tokens do not represent insurance solvency capital directly.
Licensed risk-bearer on paper
A wholly-owned, fully-collateralised Bermuda SPI is the licensed entity that issues policies and pays claims. Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) accommodates innovative-class insurers explicitly — this is the regulatory anchor.
Impartial structural evidence
Every policy contract explicitly references the Growt structural audit as the source of truth for technical disputes. The same engine that priced the policy at issuance settles the claim at incident. Independent, quantitative, auditable.
Claims in minutes, not months
Every policy contract requires AI-arbitrated dispute resolution. Parametric triggers fire automatically via smart contract; judgmental cases resolve through an AI arbitrator producing reasoned awards in minutes. Human arbitrator panel for escalation. Courts as ultimate review only.
Built for the speed of AI
AI providers, AI-deploying SaaS companies, and eventually AI agents themselves can buy coverage. Binding-authority arbitration works for B2B and AI-agent counterparties cleanly. Consumer policies deferred until system is proven.
The differentiator
Why “AI court” is the load-bearing feature
Traditional courts cannot scale to AI-economy transaction volume. The only honest answer is tiered, AI-led dispute resolution. Every model.insure protocol policy contractually accepts AI arbitration up-front.
| Tier | Resolver | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Smart contract (parametric trigger) | Seconds |
| 2 | AI arbitrator (reasoned award) | Minutes |
| 3 | Human arbitrator panel (escalation) | Days |
| 4 | Courts (ultimate review) | Months |
Questions answered
FAQ
When is it live?
Available Q3 2026, contingent on Bermuda SPI licensing + Cayman foundation formation completing. Roadmap is built on conservative regulatory timelines.
Why DAO governance instead of a traditional insurance company?
Insurance carriers globally cannot price AI risk because they lack 200 years of claims data. DAO governance with open-source risk models and structural-audit-based pricing builds the actuarial substrate that the category needs — fast, transparent, and aligned with the deployers being insured.
Is the DAO the insurer?
No — and it legally cannot be in any analysed jurisdiction. The licensed risk-bearer is a Bermuda Special Purpose Insurer (SPI), regulated by the BMA, wholly owned by the Cayman foundation that wraps the DAO. The DAO governs; the SPI underwrites and pays claims.
What about EU / Swedish customers?
Bermuda SPI does not carry an EU passport. EU deployers will be served via fronting arrangements with licensed EU/EEA carriers, with the SPI providing collateralised reinsurance behind. Same product economics, regulator-compliant distribution.
How does AI arbitration actually work?
When a claim is filed, the AI arbitrator reviews the policy terms + the audit evidence + the incident facts, and produces a reasoned award within minutes. Reasoned awards are reviewable. For high-stakes or low-confidence cases, a human arbitrator panel takes over. Customer accepts AI arbitration when signing the policy — a standard binding-authority arbitration clause.
Who is behind this?
Droidtech 42 AI Labs AB (Sweden) — the same team behind transferoracle.ai (the structural audit engine that becomes our fact-finder). model.insure is a programme of Droidtech today; new entities (Cayman foundation, Bermuda SPI) will be established for the protocol launch.
